Tiptree Quince Preserve - 2 Pack

Tiptree, England is the home of the Wilkin family where they have farmed for nearly three hundred years. The very first Tiptree conserves were made there in 1885 and to this day they still specialize in fruit growing on the Tiptree estates.

Tiptree Preserves are made with the freshest fruit and contain no artificial ingredients. Tiptree keeps as much of the whole fruit as possible in its products, maintaining its natural goodness with the same painstaking recipes used since Victorian times.

This jam contains just Quinces and sugar with no artifical flavors or preservatives. Quince is a small green fruit grown on trees. It is best eaten when cooked or made into a jam. It has a unique and subtle flavor, and makes a great filling for cakes, tarts, and pies. Try some Quince to-day!

The quince, once a member of the pear family, was originally grown in Greece and Persia. It has a sweet aroma but very acidic flavour when fresh and cannot be eaten raw. Once cooked, however, its delicate taste and firm texture makes for an unusual tea time treat.  Sold in a package of 2 jars at 12 Oz. NET WT each.
