Food for Thought's Organic Michigan Pear Preserves.  Every September in Leelanau County, MI organic farmer Gene Garthe drops of a 600-pound box of fresh-picked Bosc pears. It is all they have and Food For Thought cherishes them like precious gems. They hand peel, dice and all go into this very unique old world preserve.
